<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device for giving sufficient low friction to a seal lip when sliding and preventing the separation or removal of the seal lip when demolded after molded. <P>SOLUTION: The seal lip which is provided on a piston body 10 to be inserted into a cylinder movably in the axial direction is slidably put in close contact with the inner face of the cylinder. A sliding face 21a of the seal lip 21 has contact pressure on the inner face of the cylinder, greater as closer to the front end, and the sliding face 21a has a plurality of irregularities 21b extending to the circumferential direction. The irregularities 21b have valley portions getting deeper and ridge portions getting higher in the unloaded condition as they go closer to the front end of the seal lip 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
