<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anion generator in a structure electrifying anion into air by a discharge phenomenon, more effectively and simply than as was conventional. <P>SOLUTION: A cathode is formed into a star shape and metal material is press worked so that even a figure with many points can be easily manufactured.
