<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a collision, and to achieve communications efficiency and high speed in communications between a reader writer an IC card. <P>SOLUTION: An IC card issuing device 2 transmits and writes issuing data, including a manufacturer code as attribute information on the IC card, the type of card, the lot number, and a manufacturing number as individual information on the IC card 1 to and on the IC card 1. The IC card 1 stores the issuing data received from the IC card issuing device 2 on a memory 15. The IC card 1 transmits request response, assigning the manufacturer code stored on the memory 15, the type of card, the lot number, and the manufacturing number as a PUPI (Pseudo-Unique Proximity IC card Identifier), with respect to a request signal from the reader writer 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
