摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the specifications of a storage battery suitable for an elevator beforehand when the storage battery is installed in the elevator. <P>SOLUTION: This storage battery evaluation system comprises a means 401A for estimating the averaged number of cycles per day when the number of charging/discharging assuming, by using the operation information 302 and apparatus information 301 of the elevator, that the charging operation and discharging operation of the storage battery are one set is equal to the number of cycles, a means 402A for estimating the averaged discharge power amount in one cycle of the storage battery, a capacity-life characteristic analysis/evaluation means 403 which calculates the expected life of the storage battery by using the averaged number of cycles per day and the averaged discharge power amount in one cycle with a battery capacity taken as a parameter 405, provides a battery capacity at which an expected life exceeds the reference value of the battery life, evaluates the provided battery capacity as the capacity of the battery installed in the elevator, and evaluates the expected life of the battery at that time as a battery life, and a means 406 calculating the cost and size of the installed storage battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
