<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt apparatus which can improve the manipulability of a webbing. <P>SOLUTION: The seat belt apparatus has a configuration such that a connecting portion is provided on one end of a webbing by sewing the connecting portion by folding back it through a ring shape portion provided at an upper end of a wire rope, and the lower end of the wire rope is connected to a pretensioner arranged on a floor, and the webbing is retracted by the pretensioner when a collision is sensed. A sleeve 16, which is provided on a drawing portion 11 of the pretensioner 6 and has a slender cross section shape, is inserted into a lower end portion of a cylindrical boot 12 provided so as to cover the space around the wire rope 9. A long hole 18 is formed on the sleeve 16 inserting the wire rope 9. The longitudinal direction of the long hole 18 is tilting with respect to the longitudinal direction of the sleeve 16 such that the front end portion of the longitudinal direction of the long hole 18 faces in the outward direction of a car body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
