PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain effective utilization of a band for data communication. SOLUTION: A master unit determines a communication time required for a slave unit on the basis of terminal type information included in a connection request signal from the slave unit (STA4). Then the master unit selects one of a plurality of data communication channels and discriminates whether or not the determined communication time can be allocated for the selected data communication channel (STA5).
