To provide a self-cleaning system for water in lake, which is able to purify water quality of the lake without using the outside power and injecting chemical agents thereinto. A heat-exchange member (3) and a photocatalytic member (4) are installed to one side of riverside (2) of lake. The heat-exchange member and the photocatalytic member are laminated to be contacted with each other. The heat-exchange member is made of a metal plate having high electrical conductivity and sterilizing power. The photocatalytic member includes a base material (5), and a photocatalytic layer (6) coated on the surface of the base material.
