An antenna (35) beams out a transmission signal (s(t)). A receiver (36) receives the reflection (r1(t)) from the object (20). A further receiver (56) receives a reflection (r2(t)) from the same transmission. A mixer (38, 39) mixes the transmission signal with the received signal. A further mixer (58, 50) mixes the transmission signal with the signal from the second receiver. The angle is determined by phase difference between the mixed returns. Range and relative speed are also measured. An independent claim is included for the corresponding method.
