A thermal regulated spring balance resonator is provided to give the maximum change of -0.6 second per day within the range of COSC through 30 degrees by using single crystal quartz. A thermal regulated spring balance resonator includes a coil made from a single crystal quartz having a balance spring height(h). The thermal regulated spring balance resonator includes a balance spring having an elastic constant and a moment of inertia. The single quartz is a crystal formed along xyz-axis. The x-axis denotes an electrical axis, and the y-axis denotes an electrical axis. An angle theta is formed along the z-axis after rotation is achieved along an x-axis. The spring balance resonator has an angle between +25 degrees and -25 degrees. The spring balance resonator generally has an angle between +10 degrees and -15 degrees.
