A system for inputting automatically a function for controlling an ECU on a production line of a vehicle is provided to facilitate composite specification management and to reduce inspection processes by mounting hardware of the ECU in advance regardless of specifications and then inputting an ECU program in a final step of the production line. A computer control diagnosis device(10) installed at a production line searches an embedded data base, compares and analyzes an ECU signal data, decides and displays the successes or failure for each item on a screen, makes an operator analyze the result of processing of the inspection data for each item and statistical data, transmits the data to print the inspection result and an error code item, uses manual and automatic modes for analyzing and processing in generating a code, diagnoses a failure for each unit of the equipment by building a self-program, and sets and inputs an electronic control function of the vehicle to an ECU according to a bar code attached on the vehicle. A DLC(Data Link Control) module(20) coupled with a diagnosis connector of the ECU receives and records the measured data in a memory unit and transmits the data to the computer control diagnosis device. A bar code scanner(30) reads the bar code attached at the vehicle, transmits specifications and a vehicle identification number of the vehicle to the computer control diagnosis device, and sets and inputs an electronic control function corresponding to the vehicle into the ECU in the computer control diagnosis device. A printer(40) prints the result of the data analyzed in the computer control diagnosis device on a sticker-treated paper and the failure item and code.
