<p>An object of the present invention is to provide a method of and a device for measuring bulk modulus of a fine specimen. The present invention has the measurement chamber 6, the reference chamber for comparison 7, the differential pressure measurement means 15 for detecting the pressure difference between both chambers 6, 7, the specimen is contained in the measurement chamber 6, and in a state where both chambers 6, 7 have been set under the standard atmospheric pressure, and in a state where both chambers 6, 7 have been set under the compression atmospheric pressure higher than the standard atmospheric pressure, respectively, the pressure changes are periodically given to both chambers 6, 7, the initial volume of the specimen is detected from the differential pressure signals of both chambers at the time when it is under the standard atmospheric pressure, the compression volume of the specimen is detected from the differential pressure signals of both chambers 6, 7 at the time when it is under the compression atmospheric pressure, and the bulk modulus of the specimen is measured by computing and analyzing these detected signals.</p> |
