The method involves operating the inverter (22) at various defined operating points with constant line currents set by two Proportional-Integral regulators and determining the parameters from the control parameters of the regulators and the known input direct voltage of the inverter. The inverter is operated at a point at which a constant current flows in a line with two opposed pairs of identical paths.
