The installation has a frame to support a conveyor (9) and a washing device (2). The device has a jetter with a spray nozzle for a jet of washing liquid. The jetter has inclination units with rectangular plates permitting angular inclination of an output axis of the liquid jet with respect to a vertical line, and rotating units permitting jetter movement between two angular positions at 180 degree to each other. The jetter is mounted on a carriage such that the washing liquid jet is oriented in the direction of a cattle grid (1) to be cleaned.
