Module for processing safety relevant control input from the emergency stop and confirmation push buttons of a mobile HMI system

An input element (MST) triggers a safety-related input (ML1). First (MSM1) and second (MSM2) processing units each derive first (DSP1) and second (DSP1a) safety data packets from the safety-related input and compare these with each other. A data interface (MSD) allows one of the safety data packets to be fed into a communications channel (MK) for data packets, in the event of a match. Independent claims are also included for : (a) a mobile operating/observation device with a safety module; and (b) a human-machine interface system with a mobile operating/observation device and a central station for controlling a technical process.
