The windmill (3) may have three variable pitch blades mounted on a hub (2) supported by the bearing (1). Turning moment (M) and force (F) are resisted. The single piece inner race has its center portion of greater diameter than the sides and the large ends of the frustoconical rollers face outwards from the centerline and inwards towards the plane of symmetry between the two rows of rollers. The outer race is made in two L- section portions in contact with each other. The axes of the rollers are at 45 degrees to the axis of the rotor. The angle between the outer races is less than the angle between the inner races. |
