Weighing apparatus

The apparatus has a scale (4) that receives weights supported by a weighing base and formed with a transparent material. The scale has a visible part provided with an embossed surface (7) partially covered by a coating (9) that reflects light and is provided at the lower side (6). The embossed surface is provided with a bump (8) that has depth lower than 5 centimeter. An independent claim is also included for an electronic bathroom balance.
