An optical connector assembled on the spot is provided to protect the function of the spring by preventing the epoxy resin from penetrating into the other portions of the ferrule hole. An optical connector assembled on the spot includes a ferrule(21), a spring(22), a stopper(23) and a frame(24). The ferrule(21) is provided with a hole in the form of cylinder to receive the optical fiber inside the ferrule and a flange on the middle portion of the ferrule. The spring(22) is assembled on the rear portion of the ferrule(21) with reference to the flange and presses in the direction of the front portion. The stopper(23) is assembled to encompass the rear portion of the ferrule(21) and the spring(22). The frame(24) is provided with a hole and encompasses the front end of the ferrule(21) and the front end of the stopper(23). The optical connector is characterized in that the rear portion of the ferrule(21) is protruded from the stopper(23) after the ferrule(21), the spring(22), the stopper(23) and the frame(24) are assembled.
