A device for varying exhaust pressure of a muffler is provided to reduce exhaust noise and remove working noise by forming variable vanes to a circular case, and to simplify installation. A device for varying exhaust pressure of a muffler comprises an outer case(10) having two rings(11,12) formed in an interconnected state by a cross bar(13); a cylindrical inner case(20) inserted in the outer case; first, second, and third variable vanes(21,22,23) vertically arranged at regular intervals in a cross state to traverse the inside of the inner case and rotated according to the strength of exhaust gas passing through a flow pipe(4) to make exhaust pressure varied; first, second, and third knobs(25,26,27) existing outside the inner case while being combined to one-sides of rotating shafts(24) of the first, second, and third variable vanes; an operation part(14) interposed between the rings of the outer case; and a return spring(17) interposed between the operation part and the cross bar, to give elasticity in a direction of returning the operation part to the original position. The operation part transmits rotational force to other variable vane while having face contact with the knobs when one of the variable vanes rotates by exhaust pressure through knobs and makes the variable vanes simultaneously stretched or inclined.
