A horizontal bearing capacity pile using a steel pipe and PC(Prestressed Concrete) wires is provided to secure horizontal bearing capacity by installing a plate steel sheet to the steel pipe and tensioning the PC wires fixed to the plate steel sheet by anchors. In a horizontal bearing capacity pile using a steel pipe(10) and PC wires(20), a plate steel sheet(30) opposed to the longitudinal direction of the steel pipe is fastened to reinforcing members(33) and fixing members(31) and then the plate steel sheet is fixed at a right angle in the longitudinal direction of the steel pipe. The PC wires are inserted in the longitudinal direction through holes bored in the plate steel sheet and then the ends and central parts of the PC wires are tensioned and fixed to the plate steel sheet via anchors(40). A form is assembled in a state of covering the outer peripheral part of the plate steel sheet and the steel pipe and high-strength concrete or mortar is injected and cured. The vertical bearing capacity is supported by the steel pipe and the horizontal bearing capacity is fixed on the plate steel sheet by anchors and is supported by the PC steel wires tensioned by uniform force, the steel pipe, the high-strength concrete, and the like.
