A method for offering points using coupons including coupon information is provided to enable a customer to receive the points corresponding to the easily obtained coupon by storing the coupon information and/or client information in a storage, or storing the coupon information and/or a coupon application linked with the coupon information in a smart card, and confirming it from each storing medium. The coupon information and/or coupon client information offered from a server on the wired/wireless communication network are stored in the storing medium by linking with the point information(725). When the client uses the coupon through a member shop terminal(730), the member shop terminal transmits the coupon information and/or the client information to the server(740). The server compares the coupon information and/or the client information received from the member shop terminal with the stored information(755), and extracts the point information processed by linking with the coupon information and/or the client information based on a comparing result. The server offers the points to the client based on the extracted point information(760).
