摘要 An array substrate with an improved aperture ratio, a method for manufacturing the array substrate, and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) including the array substrate are provided to prevent light leakage by shielding an opening between pixels using a storage electrode. An array substrate includes a plurality of pixel electrode(101), switching elements, data lines(102), gate lines and storage electrodes(103B). The pixel electrodes are formed on a transparent substrate and arranged in a matrix form. Each of the switching elements includes a gate electrode, a source electrode and a drain electrode. The drain electrode is electrically connected to each pixel electrode. Each data line is arranged between neighboring pixel electrodes and electrically connected to the source electrode to apply a pixel voltage to the pixel electrode. The data line is formed in the first width. Each gate line is electrically connected to the gate electrode to transmit an electric signal for turning on/off the switching element. Each storage electrode is arranged between neighboring pixel electrodes and superposed on the pixel electrodes by predetermined lengths.
