THIN FILM TRANSISTOR SUBSTRATE, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY INCLUDING THE SAME ,AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) substrate, an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) including the TFT substrate, and a method for manufacturing the LCD are provided to prevent alien materials from adhering to a gross test probe by forming a contact assistant member in a double layer of IZO and ITO. A TFT substrate includes gate lines(22,24,26) formed on an insulating substrate(10), a gate insulating layer(30) covering the gate lines, and a semiconductor pattern(40) formed on the gate insulating layer. The TFT substrate further has data lines including source and drain electrodes(65,66), a passivation layer(70) having a contact hole exposing the drain electrode, a pixel electrode(82) formed on the passivation layer and connected to the drain electrode through the contact hole, and a contact assistant member(861,881) connecting the ends of the gate lines and data lines to an external circuit. The contact assistant member is composed of a double layer of IZO and ITO.
