The lock plate (1) for a door frame has a pass through opening (2) for a lock bolt. The opening leads to a recess pot (5) which receives the lock bolt. The recess pot has two fastening lugs (10a,b) which are folded over the edges of the opening in the plate. At least one of the flanges is formed as a separate section. Claims include a recess pot for the lock plate.
