A construction method of a semi-integral abutment bridge is provided to improve durability of the bridge, and to reduce vibration and noise without installing an expansion joint in an abutment by increasing stability in contracting and expanding an upper structure. An abutment, a bridge seat and an upper structure of a bridge are constructed(S1), and a parapet wall of the abutment is integrally constructed in an end of the upper structure separated from the abutment(S2). Sealing and waterproofing are performed to restrict foreign matters from being infiltrated between the parapet wall and the abutment(S3), and a wing wall is constructed in an upper part of the abutment(S4). A filler is mounted between the wing wall and the upper structure(S5). Drain materials are mounted in a rear part of the wall of the abutment, and buffering materials are installed in the rear part of the parapet wall of the abutment to reduce earth pressure(S6). Back filling is performed, and connection slabs, buffer slabs and filing joints are constructed(S7).
