A system and a method for ordering food through the SMS(Short Message Service) using the Internet and the mobile phone network are provided to enable a customer to easily search/order desired food information through the Internet, and enable a provider to receive delivery/reservation information without a device connected to the Internet. An order server(110) offers the food information to a customer terminal(300) from a food information database(113) storing the food information and processes order information for the food ordered from the customer by using an order information database(114). An SMS server(200) receives the information for the food ordered from the customer and customer information, and transmits the information to a mobile phone(400) of a supplier in a character message form. A customer member server(120) includes a customer member register(121), a customer member database(122), and a customer member manager(123). A supplier member server(130) includes a supplier member register(131), a supplier member database(132), and a supplier member manager(133). |
