A fusing apparatus of an image forming apparatus is provided to maintain a fusing nip between rollers constantly, thereby preventing print paper from being crumpled. A heating roller(30) is rotatably installed at a support frame(20). A pressure roller(40) is rotated with contact to the heating roller so as to have a fusing nip between the heating rollers. A rotating bracket(50), rotatably installed at the support frame, supports one of the pressure roller and the heating roller with being rotated in contact to the other. The first and second elastic members(61,63) opposite each other elastically pressures the rotating bracket, wherein the rotating bracket is placed between the first and second elastic members. With supporting the first and second elastic members, a guide member(70) guides movement of the rotating bracket. The first and second elastic members perform complementary operations of compression and expansion.
