A film coating composition comprises an acrylic polymer dispersion (a), a surfactant (b), sodium stearyl fumarate (c) and a water-containing liquid (d). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) A film coating covering a pharmaceutical core having an active ingredient and optionally at least one excipient. The film coat has been deposited from a water-containing liquid; (2) A pharmaceutical composition comprising the pharmaceutical core and the film coat; (3) Preparation of the film coating composition involving mixing (a), (b), (c) and (d) at 10 -100[deg]C; and (4) Preparation of the formulation involving coating the core with the film coating composition. |
