A mobile communication terminal and a method for blocking a call based on a location of a user are provided to identify caller information from a rejected call connection request signal, and to store the identified caller information in a memory, so that the user can selectively receive a desired call, thereby reducing an invasion of privacy. A mobile communication terminal stores setup information for deciding whether a call is connected, according to a location of the terminal(S100). A controller of the terminal confirms a caller of a call connection signal(S200). The controller perceives location information on a terminal user, and confirms the stored setup information(S300). The controller decides whether the caller is included in a call limit list of the setup information(S400). If so, the controller transmits a call reject announcement message to the caller(S600). The controller stores rejected caller information in a memory(S700).
