A mixing and agitating machine of pin type (10) capable of securely preventi ng with a simple structure such a phenomenon that a slurry solidified matter adheres to a pin or the tooth form part of a rotating disk, comprising a housing (20) capable of introducing powder material and mixing water and a rotating disk (32) arranged in the housing, wherein the outer peripheral edg e of the rotating disk is formed in a circular profile concentric with the inn er peripheral surface (25) of an annular outer peripheral wall (23), a lower pi n (50) has a rearwardly swelling part (73) swelled toward the rear of a rotati ng direction (R), an upper pin (60) has a forwardly swelling part (72') swelled toward the front of the rotating direction (R), the rotating disk is not provided with a tooth form part in the outer peripheral edge area and slurry does not adhere to the outer peripheral area of the rotating disk and, in addition, a slurry accumulating area where a vortex flow area or a turbulent flow area of a fluid body (slurry) may be produced is not formed on the rear surface and the front surface of the lower pin and the upper pin by the presence of the rear swelling part and the front swelling part, whereby the slurry is difficult to adhere to the lower and upper pins.
