A mobile telephone having a vital sign measuring capacity is provided to control a vital sign measuring system combined with the mobile telephone with a keypad of the mobile telephone, and to supply vital sign information to a user by using a display of the mobile telephone. A keypad(15) is combined with a vital sign measuring system, so that a user can control the vital sign measuring system. A display(14) is combined with the vital sign measuring system, so that the user can receive vital sign information. A microphone(16) of a mobile telephone enables the user to control the vital sign measuring system by a voice command, while a speaker(18) of the mobile telephone supplies vital sign information to the user.
