Disclosed are novel compounds of the formula: <See formula I> (wherein Z is e. g., O, S, NH; X is H or substituent; R2 and R3 are H or substituent; and Y is R1-substituted phenyl, naphthyl, furyl or thiophenyl where R1 is typically cyclic amino such as substituted piperazinyl) useful in treating or preventing migraine, depression and other disorders for which a 5-HT1, agonist or antagonist is indicated.
