he present invention aims at the integral follow-up of the temperature of patients being in feverish condition and needing constant thermometric observation (e.g. children, aged persons). The invention is composed of two separate sections: a handy armband and a processing and display device. The armband is firmly adapted, by means of the proper clip it possesses, to the body region (e.g. arm) throughout the feverish period. During this period, the device in question displays the temperature ona liquid crystal screen, while recording and saving the temperature fluctuations of the patient. In case of limit or predefined temperatures, the device warns the user -when imposed and via sound and light signals- of the temperature state for the prompt confrontation of the fever. The device is furnished with a printer port for its connection to a printer printing the saved temperature measurements, and a cp port for its connection to a computer saving, displaying and processing the temperature measurements of the device. |
