A lace knitting machine is characterized by controlling motion by using a solenoid, and controlling back electromotive force generated in time that power of the solenoid is intercepted. A controller comprised of a computer and PLC(power line communication) is capable of controlling many lace knitting machines. The lace knitting machine is capable of increasing reliability, extending the expected life span an protecting a controlling part and a power supplying part. A lace knitting machine is characterized by setting circularly bobbin fixed on a spindle on an upper part of a base, transferring or circling the bobbin in a fixed section, unwinding yarn to an upper part and knitting torchon lace. The lace knitting machine comprises: an outer plate and an inner plate formed circularly many circular arcs and fixed on an upper part of the base on a condition that saddles are opposite to an end of the circular arc; a clamp gear comprised of wings(32) formed on both upper ends, a cam(33) formed on a lower part of the wings, a gear part(34) formed on a lower part of the cam and a key(35) formed on a lower part, and joined a space between the outer plate and the inner plate to make the gear part geared into the base; a slider(41) being joined on a lower part of the clamp gear and being capable of moved up and down; a direction key(51); and a fork(45) joined on a side of the slider and elevated by a solenoid assembly(61). The direction key comprises: an spindle accepting part(53) containing a groove and receiving a lower end of the spindle; and legs(54) protruded left and right on a lower part. The spindle accepting part has the same height as the cam of the clamp gear. The legs are intervened with the slider when the slider is descended.
