FIELD: machine engineering, namely apparatuses for making from belt cord filled with activating flux for electric arc welding of steel parts at large fusion of them. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes unit for shaping belt having lodgment 4 with groove and roller entering said groove; two or more pairs of shaping rollers 13 and 14 having grooves for shaping belt 2 to cord 15; reservoir 6 for filler and filler feeding tube 8 communicated with said reservoir. At working position end of tube 8 is placed between rollers of first pair of shaping rollers 13. Over grooves shaping rollers 13 and 14 have cylindrical surface. Apparatus is provided with cartridge for belt and cartridge 18 for winding ready cord 17; furnace 16 for drying cord and attachment for joining edges of belt shaped to cord having hollow needle 12 arranged in front of shaping rollers 13 and communicated with tank 10 for adhesive 11. In variant said attachment may be in the form of head for welding edges of belt by means of heated tool, jet of hot air or in the form of ultrasonic welding head. In all variants working tool is in the form of first pair of shaping rollers 13 that may have welding protrusions.
