FIELD: construction engineering; erection of pipe lines assembled from cast iron pipes. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed pipe line unit includes two pipes with sleeves fitted on their ends; sleeves are welded to pipes. Pipes are manufactured from high-strength cast iron. Specification contains data on ratio of sleeve length and thickness of its wall to diameter of pipe. Members of proposed pipe line unit may be made from high-strength cast iron containing globular graphite; welded seams may be made by nickel-containing alloy or high-strength cast iron. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability of pipe line. ^ 6 cl, 1 dwg |
