FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves taking material under study and inoculating it on selective nutrient medium. Pure culture of pathogenous or conditionally pathogenous microorganisms is selected. Their microbial suspensions are prepared and the chemotherapeutic means is added. Control samples are produced by adding physiologic saline. The case and control samples are incubated. The microbial suspensions are prepared with physiologic saline and human serum is added. The product is incubated, liquid nutrient medium is added and repeatedly subjected to incubation. Optical density of the cultures is determined. Growth inhibition in case sample being found more than 20% as large as in the control one, the chemotherapeutic means is considered to be effective. ^ EFFECT: simplified and accelerated method. ^ 2 tbl |
