FIELD: chemical technology, namely systems for electrochemical processing of water and aqueous solutions, possibly for cleaning and disinfecting water, for preparing washing and disinfecting solutions. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes tubular and rod like electrodes. First electrode serves as anode; second electrode - as cathode. Both electrodes are fastened in dielectric sleeves and divided by means of tubular ceramic diaphragm by anode and cathode electrode chambers. Said chambers are mutually insulated by means of annular gaskets whose inner surfaces engage with outer surface of wall of tubular ceramic diaphragm. Length of tubular anode is no less than that of ceramic micro-filtering diaphragm made of material on base of aluminum oxide and having variable porosity across wall thickness; porosity lowers in direction from outer surface of wall turned to anode towards inner surface of wall turned to cathode. Annular insulation gaskets and inlet and outlet openings of anode chamber are arranged in such a way that to provide mostly effective usage of diaphragm surface at electrochemical process. ^ EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of apparatus due to its simplified construction, low-cost raw material and lowered electrical resistance of apparatus at operation. ^ 12 cl, 4 dwg, 1 ex |
