FIELD: mechanical engineering; compression ignition internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed device to control fuel delivery of high pressure fuel pump contains cylinder with piston installed in housing and forming working chamber connected through main restrictor with constant-pressure source. Working chamber is connected with drain through additional restrictor. Device is furnished with additional chamber connected with drain with fitted-in spring and pump control rack stop connected with piston. Device contains also constant flow capacity restrictor. Fuel passes through channel from working chamber to additional constant flow capacity restrictor and to additional variable capacity restrictor. ^ EFFECT: provision of more accurate delivery of fuel when fuels of different viscosity and density are used. ^ 1 dwg
