The connection bar has a support (1a) including two parallel grooves. A metallic strip (3) engaging with the grooves protrudes outside the grooves and includes sides delimiting an engagement space (4) between them. A protection unit covers remaining sides of the metallic strip. The metallic strip is inserted into the support by force for being immobilized in the support. An independent claim is also included for an electrical cabinet equipped with an electrical connection bar.
