The machine (100) has an arm (110) with a hoisting hook (300) to be suspended from a hoisting engine, and a scrapping device (200) with two jaws (230, 260). The jaws are movable opposite to each other, between a disengaging position in which a pile (P) is between the jaws and a clamping position in which the jaws contact the pile. The jaws scrape a lateral wall of the pile during their relative movement between the pile and machine.
