The medium has a surface on which encrypted pattern (2) constituted of opaque and non opaque parallel strips (3,4), is placed. The encrypted pattern is deformed by an image (5) to be encrypted. A camouflage (7) covers the encrypted pattern and consists of opaque points distributed randomly on a surface of the encrypted image. An independent claim is also included for a process of decrypting an encrypted image.
