PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio type intra-examinee-body information acquisition device capable of reducing useless power consumption and accurately executing image gathering and image transmission inside an examinee body by setting the timing of power supply to radio equipment to be after a capsule type endoscope is introduced inside the examinee body. SOLUTION: When only a lead switch 19 is in an ON state, a supply control part 22 discriminates whether or not a distance between an object and a pill 1 detected by a distance sensor 21 is a distance equal to or less than a preset prescribed value, determines that the pill 1 enters the celom of the examinee body in the case that the detected distance is equal to or less than the prescribed value, controls a sub switch 20 to be in the ON state through a latch circuit 23 and makes power supply from a battery 18 to the radio equipment 15 possible.
