PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digging machine capable of surely separating harvests from stems and leaves. SOLUTION: This digging machine is equipped with a digging body 3, a conveyor 5 having an endless carrier body 4, a tentative retention means 71 for tentatively retaining the harvests to be carried, and a miscellaneous material pull roller 39 for pulling the stems and leaves of the discharged harvests.
