PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device for optical equipment which can obtain proper exposure, while making the shutter speed higher with a simple structure. SOLUTION: In the shutter device 1 for optical equipment including a plurality of turnable sectors 10, 20 and 30 for opening/closing a shutter aperture 4, the sector includes two shutter blades 10 and 20 and a diaphragm blade 30 equipped with a small diaphragm aperture 33. The aperture-forming edges 10a and 20a of the shutter blades 10 and 20 are formed almost into linear shape, and the diaphragm blade 30 is equipped with a projection part 35 which covers a specified area, including at least the position of a pinhole formed, when the shutter blades 10 and 20 are closed and blocks light. The shutter device 1 shifts the position of the pinhole, from the end of the shutter aperture to the center part side and gives proper exposure, while realizing higher shutter speed.
