The invention concerns a method for improving both the production capacity of a furnace (6) and the metallurgical quality of the products treated in said furnace wherein a metal product (1) preferably flat moves along in said furnace successively through a zone (8) reheating the product followed by a zone (9) heating the product wherein are arranged heating means.
