<p>The invention relates to a modular structure which is used to house ornamental plants such as to form a plant screen in order to conceal a wall (3) of a building and which comprises the thermal and acoustic insulation for said building. The inventive modular structure comprises a plurality of modules which can house a substrate (6) used to grow plants (4). Moreover, each module is arranged in a frame (1) that is designed to receive the substrate (6) which is oriented essentially parallel to the wall (3) in the general plane thereof. According to the invention, the plants (4) emerge out from the front opening (2) in the frame (1), comprising an open-work element (8, 9) which is designed to retain the substrate (6) and through which the plants (4) can emerge. The modular structure is also equipped with means for irrigating the substrate, making use of a channel between the different modules, and means for collecting and recycling excess liquid contained in the substrate.</p> |
