NOVEL REACTIVE YELLOW DYES USEFUL FOR OCULAR DEVICES

摘要

Novel azo-based reactive yellow dyes and a process for manufacturing and usi ng ocular devices having blue light absorption properties. Intraocular lenses s o produced block blue light from reaching the retina of an eye implanted with the IOL. By blocking blue light from reaching the retina, the IOL thereby prevents potential damage to the retina.
