<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed chain having high sealing performance and involving no high cost. <P>SOLUTION: The sealed chain 1 has seal means 11 interposed between opposed surfaces of inner plates 4 and outer plates 8. The seal means 11 comprises a pair of annular seal members 12, 14 arranged to face each other between the opposed surfaces of the inner plate 4 and the outer plate 8. The pair of annular seal members 12, 14 are formed of elastic material. The pair of annular seal members 12, 14 have, on surfaces opposite to each other, annular lip-like protrusions 12a, 14a and annular recesses 12b, 14b fitted with the annular lip-like protrusions 12a, 14a. Tips of the annular lip-like protrusions 12a, 14a are pressed and abutted against bottoms of the annular recesses 12b, 14b by elasticity of the pair of annular seal members 12, 14. The tips of the annular lip-like protrusions 12a, 14a and the bottoms of the annular recesses 12b, 14b slide when the chain 1 is bent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
