<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise healthy livestock by ameliorating the function of the organs of the livestock including domestic ruminants, particularly liver and kidney. <P>SOLUTION: A method for ameliorating livestock organ function is provided, comprising the following practice: Livestock feed or drinking water is put into a hopper 9, 500-20,000 V AC voltage is applied to electrodes 8-1 to 8-3 covered with insulation material equipped in the hopper 9 to make an electron charge on the feed or drinking water at a power consumption of 10-30 W, and the resultant feed or drinking water is given to livestock to ameliorate the organ function of the livestock such as liver and kidney. Thus, the health condition of the livestock under raising is maintained, eliminating the need of administering drugs including antibiotics and hormone preparations unlike conventional cases.
