<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the number of sessions to be managed by a multi-spot conference unit (MCU) in a multi-spot conference system using the the multi-spot conference unit. <P>SOLUTION: A multi-spot conference unit 100 manages terminals 10 which take part in a conference for each group, and upward data transmission from the conference terminals 10 to the multi-spot conference unit 100 is performed only by a representative terminal of that group but with respect to downward data transmission from the multi-spot conference unit 100 to the conference terminals 10, on the other hand, data of the representative terminal in each group are transmitted to all the conference participant terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
